Fisheries scientists from Queensland, New South Wales and Canberra were among those attending a workshop at .
The development of an updated version of the “Status of Key Australian fish stocks (SAFS)” was discussed. If funded, the report will be produced in 2014 with input from Australian states, territories and the Commonwealth.
The aim of the report is to assess the sustainability status of key Australian fisheries.
